Hawaii Army National Guard Soldiers and Hawaii Air National Guard Airmen begin unloading a Hawaii Army National Guard UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter from a Hawaii Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the 204th Airlift Squadron after arriving at Clark Air Base, Philippines, Aug. 1, 2026. The overnight airlift marked the beginning of the Hawaii Army National Guard's first Black Hawk deployment to the Philippines, where Soldiers and Airmen trained alongside members of the Philippine Air Force during bilateral aviation engagements under the Department of War National Guard Bureau State Partnership Program between Hawaii and the Philippines.
