A member of the North Macedonia army instructs new explosive ordnance disposal students on demolition techniques in North Macedonia. This training is part of a continued partnership between the Vermont Air National Guard and North Macedonia. The training is part of a humanitarian mine action initiative through the State Partnership Program, designed to help North Macedonia develop its own self-sustaining EOD capability. The 158th EOD flight's "train the trainer" model enables Macedonian personnel to certify their own technicians to clear explosive remnants of war and enhance civilian safety.
