NORE Sharpens Skills
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Grady Phillips and Airman 1st Class Lily Beer, both 133rd Aerial Refueling Squadron aircrew flight equipment technicians, perform gas mask and helmet system communication and oxygen testing for U.S. Air Force Maj. Luke Huebener, a 133rd ARS KC-46A pilot, at Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire, Feb. 6, 2026. The tests are part of the pre-flight process for generating mission-ready air crews, ensuring all equipment fits and is fully functional. The pre-flight inspection was carried out as part of the wing’s nuclear operational readiness exercise that took place over the February unit training assembly, testing the unit’s ability to generate aerial refueling capability when it matters most.
