8V92 two stroke 575hp Detroit Diesel

A large Detroit Diesel engine is in the Iowa Air National Guard maintenance shop after being remove from the rear of a 1996 Teledyne P23 “Crash Truck” at the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa on June 8, 2022. 185th ARW mechanics are planning to overhaul the engine because it had developed an internal coolant leak.
