Air Force Recruiting Service's Det. 1 Blitzes Houston

Capt. Wesley Cobb (left), a C-40 B/C pilot from the 1st Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, helps a student try on a flight helmet at one of several schools he visited in Houston as a volunteer with Air Force Recruiting Service Detachment 1. Cobb volunteered with Det. 1 and spoke about opportunities within the Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, February 23, 2022, in Houston. Det. 1 was in Houston for its Inspirational Zone Blitz event while members visited schools, extracurricular clubs and volunteer organizations to inform, influence and inspire the next generation of diverse rated aviators.
