NY Reapers take to Skies over Alaska for Northern Edge 21
A 174th Attack Wing MQ-9 Reaper prepares for flight at Eielson Air Force Base during exercise Northern Edge 21. The 174th has partnered with multiple DoD contractors and academia to lead the effort in establishing new and additional capabilities for the MQ-9 Reaper. This two-week long exercise that took place from May 3-15. Northern Edge is Alaska’s premier joint-training exercise designed to practice operations and enhance interoperability among the services.
