Offutt-based Citizen Airmen practice water survival skills
Maj. Chris Lamkey (standing) and Maj. Clay Holland (sitting), 170th Group members assigned to Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, don anti-exposure suits while participating in water survival and rescue training July 14, 2018. The suits are worn by aircrew in the eventuality they must be in water where the temperature is below 60 F. The air crew members were briefed on the availability and use of tools contained in their survival gear before putting academics and theory to the test in the waters of a local lake.
