A TRN-48 mobile Tactical Air Navigation system from the 270th Air Traffic Control Squadron is dwarfed by a visiting C-130J Super Hercules from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. during the joint Cascadia Airlift Exercise July 14, 2018 at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Airmen from Little Rock and the 173rd Fighter Wing teamed up to prepare to respond to a potential large-scale earthquake off the coast of Oregon. The Oregon National Guard’s mission is to be “a ready force equipped and trained to respond to any contingency,” and disaster relief efforts play a central role in that mission.
