Puerto Rico Air National Guard supports hurricane evaucation of over 1,000 U.S. citizens from the island of St. Maarten
The 156th Airlift Wing deployed Puerto Rico Air National Guard aircrew members on two WC-130H Hercules aircraft to support hurricane rescue efforts to over 1,000 U.S. ciitizens from the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, Sept.9. The Kentucky Air National Guard's 123rd Special Tactics Squadron and the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing and the New York's worked jointly with the PRANG to conduct 11 flights in over 9 hours to meet evaucation requirements.
