Lt. Col. Phil Townsend C-130H Hercules evaluator pilot and TAAC-Air standardization and evaluation chief, conducts annual Instrument Refresher Training for Afghanistan Air Force C-130H and Cessna 208 aircraft pilots. Townsend is one of the U.S. Air National Guard Airmen tasked with building and training their Afghan counterparts into a fully-functional C-130H squadron.
