Hurricane Gustav

Litter patients are carried from a Texas Air National Guard C-130 Hercules August 31 to awaiting ambulances at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio following their aeromedical flight from Beaumont Texas. In the potential path of Hurricane Guastav's landfall, a multi-state aeromedical Air Guard team from Texas, Delaware, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Tennessee helped airlift at least 247 patients to safety August 30-31.
