Vernal, Utah - Staff Sgt. Alan Reynolds of the 151st Medical Group helps air paramedic Tom Robertson unload equipment from a Bell 430 AirMed helicopter into the Vernal hospital. Sergeant Reynolds is one of 19 Utah Air Guard medics who are participating in a special ride-along program with the University of Utah AirMed unit. The ride-along program is designed for local third-year medical residents, Emergency Medical Technicians, firefighters and other emergency response personnel so they can observe the critical-care air transport process.
