NGB graduates first CPI black belt class
Gen. Craig McKinley, chief, National Guard Bureau, addresses the recent graduates of the NGB Continuous Process Initiative black belt course in Arlington, Va., Dec. 4, 2009. During the course, students learn how to use statistical analysis and other tools as ways to improve upon the efficiency of processes and programs within their unit. Those programs can range anywhere from streamlining the deployment process to improving on vehicle maintenance schedules.
