Air Guard strives to protect people on, off duty

Air Force Col. Doug "Odie" Slocum, director of safety for the Air Guard, addresses a crowd of Air Guard senior leadership during the 2010 Executive Safety Summit in Fort Worth, Texas, June 22, 2010. The theme for the summit was to strive for zero accidents, both on and off the job. Slocum discussed several areas of concern when it comes to safety while off duty, and said that though the numbers have gone down the Guard can do better.
