Major James Robinson (“Robbie”) Risner posed with F-86, probably Kimpo, Korea, ca. 1952. After serving as a fighter pilot in World War II, Robbie Risner joined the Oklahoma Air National Guard and was recalled to active duty in February 1951. Serving with the 336th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, Risner shot down eight MiG-15 fighters.
