"Acting Director, Air National Guard sends Holiday Greetings"

Arlington, Va. --  Dear Air National Guard Family,

As we prepare to celebrate this Holiday Season, allow me to extend warm wishes and thanks to you and your loved ones. Today, more than 107,000 Airmen serve in the Air National Guard and our country benefits from your efforts every day. Please know how much I appreciate the commitment and service that you and your families provide.

As we celebrate with our family and friends, we cannot lose sight of the fact that for many of our fellow service members, these are very difficult and trying times. Loved ones lost or deployed far from home are a poignant reminder of the sacrifices being made. I ask that you extend your diligence as good "Wingmen" to those who may need your comfort or kind words during these times of challenge. Caring for those in our extended Air National Guard family should be a top priority for all of us.

Best wishes for a safe and happy Holiday Season and may the New Year bring you and your loved ones great satisfaction and pride in the service you render for our nation.
