McFadden ANG Public Affairs WASHINGTON, D.C (9/17/2012) -- Joint STARS combat crew of the 128th Airborne Command and Control Squadron, 116th Air Control Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, received the Earl T. Ricks award for Best Air National Guard unit airmanship. Lt. Gen. Harry Wyatt, III presented the Earl T. Ricks Award for being the Best Air National Guard unit airmanship. Recognized for support of Operations Odyssey Dawn and Unified Protector, the crew led the dynamic targeting air campaign and enforced the no fly zone. They detected ground movements and correlated intelligence.
