RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Chief Master Sgt. Ronald Anderson, Air National Guard command chief and Chief MSgt. Lorene Kitzmiller, ANG first sergeant functional, met with Chief Master Sgt. Phillip L. Easton, U.S. Air Forces Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa command chief master sergeant, at USAFE headquarters, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 15, 2019, in efforts to expand ANG enlisted influence throughout the U.S. Air Force.

Chief Easton has been selected to replace Fleet Master Chief Crispian D. Addington as the Senior Enlisted Leader for U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany.

“My goal is to develop ANG leaders throughout the entire spectrum of command levels,” Anderson said. “Our uniqueness requires that we develop unique opportunities that are intentional for the progression towards this type of influence.”

Easton is in agreement. Easton spoke with Anderson and Kitzmiller about the future of ANG involvement with USAFE as well as developing opportunities to move into other combatant commands as Easton moves into EUCOM.

“This is also a force provider for USAFE,” Anderson stated. “It speaks to the ANG’s ever expanding impact and is a clear and natural progression for the ANG's senior enlisted member's role as leaders within the Total Force.”
