Position Description (Duty Description) Required Experience/Skills:  The ideal candidate has significant experience working at the intersection of technology, national security, and society, including in-depth knowledge of cyber operations and their role in national security. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of Cyber Operations and flows.  Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work with senior staff of all department components, the intelligence community, and other federal agencies. Candidates must have experience working with a range of stakeholders, including Congress, the private sector, and the interagency to develop national cyber policies and programs.  They should have a firm understanding of operational objectives and effects based planning.  Strong writing and communication skills are essential; candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Experience:  Working knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process is strongly preferred. 
Position Description:  Serve as an action officer for the Strategic Defense and Capabilities Development Team to support initiatives across the OSD Cyber Policy office. This team is responsible for developing policy and guidance to ensure that cyber forces and operational/headquarters elements have the necessary authorities, resources, and policy guidance needed to fulfill DOD's missions in cyberspace. This includes supporting the maturation of Cyber Mission Forces and US Cyber Command; implementing the 2015 DoD cyber strategy; clarifying DoD policy for cyber forces' role in responding to significant cyber attacks; monitoring cybersecurity and layered defense efforts within the Department; and overseeing the development of foundational capabilities for US Cyber Command. The candidate will advise senior leaders on cyber policy development, particularly as it relates to the conduct cyberspace operations, the National Guard, and Defense Support of Civil Authorities.  At times, the candidate will be called upon to lead efforts across the department, and interagency.  The candidate will develop analyses and assessments that provide an understanding of associated cyber issues.

Physical Fitness Assessment: Current Physical Fitness Test (all pages) within past 12 months. Must be valid for up to 90 days from date of application submittal.

AF Form 422 -Notice of AF Members Qualification Status: With no restrictions and validated within 60 days prior to tour start date.  Form must indicate member does not have a deployment restriction (Code 31) or is undergoing an MEB (Code 37). Working copy will not be accepted. Upon final selection, you may need to provide an updated AF422.

vMPF RIP: Must  include all pages.  Ensure your Total Active Federal Military Service (TAFMS) is listed on your RIP

PCARS RIP:  Point Credit Accounting and Reporting Systems From vMPF or MilPDS

Sanctuary Waiver:  If TAFMS is 16 years or greater; must submit a Statement of Understanding Waiver of AD Sanctuary.

1095 Day Analysis:  Letter with analysis of how many days performed during the last 1,460 days.

Officers: Last 3 OPRs IAW MPFM 07-45 dated 11 Jul 07,  para 17b "OPRs on AFRC and ANG Officers are due to the CSS no later than 30 days after close-out and to HQ ARPC no later than 60 days after close-out."
