Position Description (Duty Description)

Applicants will be assigned to the Air National Guard Office of the Command Chief performing duties in conjunction with the ANG Command Chief Master Sergeant.  This position requires a top performing SMSgt capable of operating at high OPSTEMPO. Position is a senior strategic level advisor to the Air National Guard Command Chief Master Sergeant (ANG CCM) on matters influencing the health, morale, welfare and development of the enlisted force.  Selected Airman will manage long term and short term ANG CCM obligations and calendar execution.  Selected Airmen will be a member of the Office of the ANG CCM and perform duties as frontline ambassador to 90 wings and 200+ geographically separated units.  Member will prepare executive correspondence; coordinate w/HAF directorates, MAJCOMs, OSD and Joint Service offices.  Must be able to analyze/review/manage decisional and informational packages covering the full spectrum on AF enlisted issues.  Must be highly skilled in the following areas: Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Travel Logistics, and Verbal Communication. Applicant will be required to operate outside of standard duty hours.  Applicant must be able to accommodate flexible duty hours as the ANG CCM schedule is subject to change on short notice.  POSITION REQUIRES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL SCHEDULE.

3. Physical Fitness Certificate: Must have a passing score within past 12 months - must be valid when tour starts. If test expires while on ADOS duty, member can participate in PT testing at duty location.

4. AF Form 422 - NOTICE OF AF MEMBER'S QUALIFICATION STATUS: With no restrictions and validated within 60 days prior to tour start date. Form must indicate member does not have a deployment restriction (Code 31) or is undergoing an MEB (Code 37). Working copy is unacceptable. Upon final selection, you may need to provide an updated AF422.

5. RIP (review of individual person): Include TAFMS (total active federal military service) not to exceed 18-years including the days listed on the FM certification letter. Submit the entire RIP as information in other areas of the report is required for the review process.

**6.  State and Wing CCM endorsement letters required for consideration.

**7. TAG (or designated Representative) and Wing CC Concurrence required.   Must include the dates you are approved to support the ADOS tour (ex. 1-Oct-2016 to 30-Sep 2018).
