TOUR LENGTH: 365 days MPA Pending Approval and Funding (Possible extension pending funding and members continued qualification during next FY). Member should be entitled to full PCS benefits if 365 days awarded. (Unaccompanied PCS)

Position Description (Duty Description)
A. HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A3T is requesting an Officer (AFSC 11F/11M/12F) that will be fully engaged in providing support and coordination for exercises & forward training deployments in the USAFE Theater that fulfill European Reassurance Initiative (ERI). Position will report to Chief, USAFE/A3T Exercises and training branch. The applicant will be responsible to USAFE-AFAFRICA/A3 as the USAFE ERI Program Lead and will directly supervise a staff of four Subject Matter Experts (SME). In addition, member will act as Action Officer (AO) to synchronize the efforts across the USAFE-AFAFRICA staff for projects, taskers, actions, and programs. Duties require an officer with the ability to integrate with teams from other staff directorates, contractors, SME's and foreign government representatives. Responsibilities include coordination FY17 exercises at several European locations, ensure timely response of participating ARC project officers during pre-execution, liaise with/augment USAFE and EUCOM to ensure success of ERI total force training deployments. Other tasks and duties include developing and reviewing policy and plans; tracking and briefing exercise milestones; drafting and staffing memoranda for approval by the A3/10 and COMUSAFE; developing, managing and maintaining briefings on Exercise status and providing SME expertise on aircraft and airspace requirements.
B. The exercise implementation team is responsible for the preliminary planning, coordination and execution to facilitate ongoing USAFE training exercises that support ERI. These initiatives support ERI LOEs of Increased Presence, Exercises & Training with Allies and Partners, and Persistent Capabilities. The position will be an action officer providing support to both USAFE A3, EUCOM Security Cooperation (SC) division, and ANGRC EUCOM/AFRICOM desk officer.
C. Unit-level weapons and tactics training, Instructor/ Evaluator Pilot or WSO experience are highly desired. Experience with staff procedures, functions/organizational structure of USAFE, EUCOM, AFRICOM, AF staffs and CAP is desired. Applicant should possess good technical writing and briefing skills.

Physical Fitness Assessment: Current Physical Fitness Test (all pages) within past 12 months. Must be valid for up to 90 days from date of application submittal.
AF Form 422 -Notice of AF Members Qualification Status: With no restrictions and validated within 60 days prior to tour start date. Form must indicate member does not have a deployment restriction (Code 31) or is undergoing an MEB (Code 37). Working copy will not be accepted. Upon final selection, you may need to provide an updated AF422.
vMPF RIP: Must include all pages. Ensure your Total Active Federal Military Service (TAFMS) is listed on your RIP
PCARS RIP: Point Credit Accounting and Reporting Systems from vMPF or MilPDS
Sanctuary Waiver: If TAFMS is 16 years or greater; must submit a Statement of Understanding Waiver of AD Sanctuary.
1095 Day Analysis: Letter from Budget/Comptroller with analysis of how many days performed during the last 1,460 days if applicable. NO 1095 Waivers allowed.
TAG/Wing (CC) Acknowledgment: Wing Acknowledgment required for 90 days or less/TAG for over 90 days
Officers: Last 3 OPRs IAW MPFM 07-45 dated 11 Jul 07, para 17b "OPRs on AFRC and ANG Officers are due to the CSS no later than 30 days after close-out and to HQ ARPC no later than 60 days after close-out."
