Position Description (Duty Description)
A. HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A5I is requesting an ANG officer AFSC 11F with previous Security Cooperation experience who has completed the DSCA Security Cooperation Management State Partnership (SPP) Course and Steady State Campaign Planners Course. This request supports integrating ANG Security Cooperation efforts and the State Partnership Program with COCOM and MAJCOM strategic plans, strengthening our interoperability with NATO allies and partner nations, and leading integration of ANG forces and deployment basing options in the AOR. Additionally, Close Air Support and/or 5th Generation fighter experience is desired to coordinate future absorption and cooperation activities with developing African partners and 5th Generation European partner nations. Position will report direct to the Chief, USAFE-AFAFRICA International Affairs Divison.
B. Position will serve as USAFE's key link to the SPP, requiring frequent coordination with NGB J5/3, ANGRC, USAFE A3, and respective ANG partner JFHQ staffs along with Bilateral Affairs Officers in the partner nations. Previous COCOM, MAJCOM, A3 or A5 staff, and operational experience desired to serve as functional link bridging numerous A5 plans to A3 activities. Officer must have experience with ARC man-day and resourcing functions to facilitate execution of ARC forces in theater. Member is responsible for leading and assisting with operational planning teams (OPT), and strengthening the end strategic results of all USAF total force engagements in theater. Officer will lead activity planning to strengthen Partnership programs and have detailed knowledge and familiarity of security cooperation authorities, complete ANG force structure, and availability to support USAFE-AFAFRICA.
C. The position will focus on ensuring USAFE's operational and partnering equities are addressed in the European and Africa theaters. Member must understand current efforts under the European Reassurance Initiative (ERI), be able to speak intelligently to Security Cooperation planning & operations, and have the ability to travel frequently within the EUCOM/AFRICOM theater representing both USAFE-AFAFRICA and the ANG. Members with Defense Travel System (DTS) and Global-Theater Security Cooperation Information Management System (G-TSCIMS) certifications are highly desired.

AF Form 422 -Notice of AF Members Qualification Status: With no restrictions and validated within 60 days prior to tour start date. Form must indicate member does not have a deployment restriction (Code 31) or is undergoing an MEB (Code 37). Working copy will not be accepted. Upon final selection, you may need to provide an updated AF422.
vMPF RIP: Must include all pages. Ensure your Total Active Federal Military Service (TAFMS) is listed on your RIP
PCARS RIP: Point Credit Accounting and Reporting Systems From vMPF or MilPDS
Sanctuary Waiver: If TAFMS is 16 years or greater; must submit a Statement of Understanding Waiver of AD Sanctuary.
1095 Day Analysis: Letter from Budget/Comptroller with analysis of how many days performed during the last 1,460 days if applicable. NO 1095 Waivers allowed.
TAG/Wing (CC) Acknowledgment: Wing Acknowledgment required for 90 days or less/TAG for over 90 days
Officers: Last 3 OPRs IAW MPFM 07-45 dated 11 Jul 07, para 17b "OPRs on AFRC and ANG Officers are due to the CSS no later than 30 days after close-out and to HQ ARPC no later than 60 days after close-out."
