Nexus Rising tests 349 AMW reservist’s readiness

Tech Sgt. Lisa Gonzales-Marin, 349th Medical Squadron provides medical treatment for Exercise Nexus Rising at Travis Air Force Base, California, June 3, 2022. Nexus Rising is a readiness exercise designed to test the ability of the 349th Air Mobility Wing to generate, employ and sustain air operations in a simulated combat environment. Missions include air rescue, aeromedical evacuation, airlift for cargo and personnel, aerial refueling, deployment processing, aerial port operations, and command and control. Reserve Citizen Airmen from Travis, Army National Guard members from Fairfield, and California Air National Guard members from Moffett Field are participating in the exercise, June 3-5, 2022.
