AF JROTC at Anchor Bay H.S.

Marine Corps 1st Sgt. David Auwen talks with instructors and cadets of the Anchor Bay High School Air Force Junior ROTC program at the high school, near New Baltimore, Mich, April 24, 2013. Auwen was the first cadet commander of the program when it was re-established in the early 1990s. Today, he is the headquarters first sergeant for the 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, based at nearby Selfridge Air National Guard Base. With Auwen are Cadet Austin Parks, Col. (retired) Jeffrey Carrothers, Master Sgt. (retired) Steve Wratchford, and Cadets Johnathon LaFave and Tristan Grose.
