140th Wing Returns from Deployment
While in Korea, the 140th Wing integrated with other U.S. Air Force members and flew daily training missions with F-16C fighter aircraft.
Pilots, maintenance, and intelligence personnel spent many months preparing for this overseas mission and executed it flawlessly over the past 90 days, said Lt. Col. Mitchell Neff, commander, 120th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.
"This was a very successful deployment that provided our members valuable training and strengthened ties with our allied partners overseas," he said.
Since 1923, the "Redeyes" of the Colorado Air National Guard have served our country's overseas missions to include having deployed seven times since Sept. 11, 2001.
"Every one of these Airmen is willing and eager to serve our Nation when called upon," Neff said.
