116th FSS deployed to National Capital Region in support of the 57th Presidential Inauguration
WASHINGTON --
National Guardsmen deployed to the National Capital Region line the floors of the Kennedy Recreation Center for a night of rest while supporting the 57th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C., Jan. 20, 2013.
The recreation center served as a bed down and feeding location for troops deployed to the area. They were able to enjoy a hot meal at the facility prepared by the Joint STARS 116th Force Support Squadron from Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
