Polar Rescue

Summit Station, a National Science Foundation research station, is located at the peak of the Greenland ice cap in almost the middle of the country. There is a long relationship between Thule and the NSF, as the base serves as a staging base for the NSF arctic research stations Summit and NEEM, storing supplies and providing the launch point for resupply operations.
