Rapid change is something service members continually prepare for; at any time we can get the notice for a change of duty station, deployment or adjust to new roles within a unit. For 12 Airmen deployed to the 407th Air Expeditionary Group as Security Forces Defenders, a rapid change presented itself within the first month upon arriving.

JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- The 2017 Air Force Equal Opportunity Worldwide Training Workshop was held at the General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center here from June 12 to 16, 2017. Approximately 300 attendees from every component of the Air Force, including 100 Guardsmen from 40 states, came for the week-long workshop that provided equal opportunity professionals their required yearly refresher training.

Six crew chiefs and two production members with the 151st Maintenance Group trained alongside their active duty counterparts from Hill Air Force Base, Utah on F-35 Lightning II aircraft recovery procedures on June 9, here at Roland R. Wright Air National Guard Base. Training with the F-35, Hill AFB’s newest aircraft, is important for the Air Guard crew chiefs because they may need to assist with landing procedures here in the future.

185th Air Refueling Wing Financial Management received two awards this month for outstanding achievement and mission impact. The awards, Financial Services Office of the year and Financial Management Comptroller office of the year are two of only three national organizational awards presented annually.  The awards were presented for financial services provided during 2016.
